Ideation: After looking at Wayne Thiebaud's artwork, we begin planning out our cupcakes. Students have a planning sheet where they fit out the flavor, color and decorations for their cupcakes. They then get to color in their cupcake and practice drawing frosting.
Materials: For this project we use crayons and markers, learning how to combine the two when making art.
